 Building on Excellence

A fundraising Campaign for Clementi Secondary School
organized by the Class of 1957

The class of 1957 is pleased to announce that we have completed our“Building on Excellence”fundraising campaign in support of Clementi Secondary School. With much enthusiasm and generosity, the class raised a total of HK$57,000! On behalf of the fundraising committee, we would like to express our deepest appreciation to all of our classmates who have championed this cause and worked to ensure that the School's outstanding tradition of distinguished and quality instruction will continue for numerous years to come.

On a personal note, both of us would like to express how extremely grateful we are for our experience at Clementi Secondary School.We look back on our time there with special fondness and are indebted to the many teachers from whom we had the great privilege to study. Through their guidance and mentorship, we learned countless life lessons, including the importance of a strong work ethic, the skills and knowledge to help us succeed, and most importantly, the confidence to pursue our goals.

We have no doubt that the current members of the administration and faculty at Clementi Secondary School are dedicated to continuing this tradition of excellence in teaching. In this day and age when modern technology and scientific innovation is bringing the world ever closer together, the School offers a unique environment in which to educate and prepare its students not only to become successful in their own lives but also to become good citizens of a global society.

The entire class of 1957 is proud to make this donation to Clementi Secondary School. Together, we will be able to maintain and ensure a strong future for our alma mater!

活戶展望

1. 學校舉行校友千人宴 “豪情 唱飲金 晚夜”，日期定於十二月十四日星期五

2. 延伸校內仁兄仁姊計劃至畢業生

3. 參與慈善步行籌款活動，例如﹕公益金百萬行

(三) 校友會活動紀要

1. 中文大學聯合書院院長馮國培教授(68)於十一月五日回校任畢業暨頒獎典禮主禮嘉賓。馮校友勉勵同學要本著校訓文、行、忠、信的原則，以兩文三語、通識教育及創新思維為學習目標，以鞏固學習根基。
新駿有限公司總經理楊宇杰校友(67)於十二月十六日回校任陸運會頒獎嘉賓。楊校友緬懷在學往事，並勉勵同學培養良好的運動習慣，從而增強體質及鍛煉意志力。

2. 本年度捐贈獎學金包括：校友會校長獎學金、六零/四零千禧中史獎學金、七零年畢業生獎學金、七一年畢業生獎學金、校友會甘慕勤老師獎學金、校友會周侃若老師獎學金及助學金十名，合共二萬七千五百元。

3. 為了紀念母校金文泰中學創校將達八十年，校友會及校方特別成立了八十周年校慶活動籌備委員會，邀請了鄧陳慧玲校長擔任總顧問，梁永義校友(68)出任顧問。籌備委員會初步組織如下：
